Q. - What end cap do I get for the system I ordered?

A. When ordering a driveway channel drain system, end caps are an important component to consider. Depending on the channel depth of your system, you’ll need to choose end caps that match correctly. We recommend that you read through the titles and descriptions of end caps very carefully prior to making your purchase so you know what type and size end cap you’ll need for your system. If you're unsure, contact us for support.

Q. - I want to hook up a 4 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, but your end caps are set up for drain pipe, can i still do this?

A. Yes absolutely, all you need is one of our schedule 40 PVC adapters for that, we have them both for 3 inch PVC and 4 inch PVC.

Q. Do I need installation brackets?

A. When it comes to driveway channel drain installation, having installation brackets is a great idea. Installing brackets helps keep the channels in place during the concrete pour, ensuring that the top will remain level throughout the process. Additionally, they hold firm and do not allow any movement of your driveway channel drain while setting. With installation brackets, you can be sure that your driveway drain will be secure and properly installed.

Q. Do the materials channel drain grates are made from matter?

A. Yes, every material has its properties that make it more suitable for certain conditions. For example plastic, while it is lightweight and resistant to corrosion, will have more difficulty withstanding heavy debris than stainless steel, which is more durable.

Standartpark sells and ships our own one-of-a-kind industrial sealant. This sealant is perfect for channel to channel connection as well as providing a water tight seal so your pipe outlets can handle all levels of water flow.

Quick drying time and professional grade means you do not have to wait around for your rubber / silicone to bond over a day or two.

The Benefits of Driveway Drain Systems

Installing driveway channel drain systems can be a great way to invest in the look and value of your property. Not only do they improve the overall appearance of a driveway by preventing standing water, but they can also reduce any potential damage that water may cause over time.

Installing effective driveway drains can prove to be very beneficial as it eliminates puddles, encourages surface runoff to prevent flooding, and is known for increasing the value of a property. By removing excess water from your driveway via its drainage channels, a trench drain system can help to reduce the risk of slips and falls, particularly during wet weather.

A driveway drainage system also protects your driveway by freeing it of standing or surface water that causes cracks overtime. Preventing a source of potential damage can save homeowners time and money in the long run, all while offering peace of mind.

If you're looking for other subtle ways to improve the appearance of your property, consider our commercial grade steel landscape edging and our grate-less trench drain made of polymer concrete.
