The 4” Channel Ductile Cast Iron Slotted Package is built to handle heavier automotive traffic with ease. The KTL laminated cast iron grate offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. This channel drain system is an ideal solution for shops, commercial properties, and transport hubs. Anywhere reliable performance is needed in high traffic areas! The channel body is available in two options: neutral channels with consistent depth, and pre-sloped channels that increase in depth by 1% along the run. All channels feature a snap-and-lock connection for easy, continuous installation at various lengths. Each channel also includes two 90-degree turn options for added layout flexibility.

"We needed a drain to handle an eight-foot drop into our garage, and we ended up choosing a Vodalan drain. We were extremely impressed from start to finish. Their team took the time to look at our slope and drainage needs, and the customer service was excellent. He even used a new program they had just received to map everything out and show us exactly what we needed. We also have a drain inside the garage that was installed by professional plumbers, but this time we installed the Vodalan drain ourselves. This one was a 20-foot system (compared to the 4-foot drain inside the garage), and not only was it easy enough for us to do on our own, but it actually looks better than the professionally installed one. The grate on top looks very clean and high-quality. Overall, we are extremely impressed with the product, the support, and the final results. Highly recommend!"

- I’m curious for the end caps for your 4” channel ductile cast iron slotted package what type of pipe material ties into it, if it’s sch 40 or SDR 35.

To connect our 4" Channel Ductile Cast Iron Slotted Package to your pipe, we recommend attaching an outlet end cap to the channel drain and using an adapter to connect to your 4" pipe. You may use either Schedule 40 or SDR 35, depending on your preference. Please let us know if you have any further questions, (314) 717-1551.
- If I order 32' of 'pre-sloped' drain (10 sections), would it be progressively deeper throughout? As in, each section a little deeper? Installing into a flat concrete slab, so hoping the bottom of the drain slopes the entire distance.
- Hello! For Vodaland’s 4" Plastic Channel – Pre-Slope, it is correct that each channel section progressively increases in depth as the linear run extends. - Im trying to calculate how much concrete I will need ready to pour around this trench drain. Any idea around how much it takes per section?
- For the installation with any of our Trench Drain Systems, we highly recommend having at least 2-3 inches of concrete all around the drain. That includes the bottom of the channel drain as well.
- what kind of tape do you put on grates while pouring concrete?
- We are actually in the process of developing our own Grate Safe tape. This should be launching within the next 2 weeks!
- I would like to know if there is an end cap outlet available for the PC8020-M / 4" channel?
- Yes of course! You would go to Drain - Accessories - 4" Channel accessories and chose the 4" Channel outlet end caps. And make sure to choose the channel depth you are purchasing! Thank you for your question!
