Pro Tip: Chill your Spikes!

"Custom made for the Easypave grid panels. PROS: custom fit and they have barbs for superior holding power- great for soft to medium soils. CONS: Plastic will snap in half or shatter when trying to pound into hard soil or soil with pebbles. If you try to pound them in on a hot day the plastic gets soft and bends. You won't be able to get them in. Pro Tip: soak them in a cold water bath 50% ice / 50% water on a hot day (over 80°F) and the chill will make the plastic firm and they will not bend. Ice water above 32°F WILL NOT be cold enough to make them brittle. I broke lots of warm pins and broke zero cold pins."

"Used Hexpave system to hold the gravel placed around the water feature to prevent wash out as well as providing a stable surface to walk on. Used the plastic anchors to secure the Hexpave panels as we installed this over heavy filter cloth fabric. This system is awesome and makes a big difference in the stability of the gravel. We went from a grass area that would not grow well due to absence of sunlight due to shade, to an area filled with plants that don’t require direct sun. Water feature was installed to provide a nice peaceful area. I highly recommend this product"
