These lightweight, eco-friendly permeable pavers stabilize surfaces, keep gravel in place and prevent erosion.

The innovative snap and lock feature makes for a smooth installation process and long-lasting reliability. The hexagon pavers are completely permeable and
effectively allow water to flow through - which is beneficial for both drainage and erosion control. Our HexPave has an optional anchoring system that is most
commonly used on sloped or hilly areas. We recommend using 1 - 2 anchors per unit.

Great Base for Outdoor Sport Court Tiles!

"We installed these on our 1800 square foot DIY outdoor sport court. We brought in 2-20" of fill dirt to obtain level ground, then 2" of road base, each plate-compacted separately and "watered-in" with a sprinkler. Then we installed landscape fabric, and finally the Hex Pave system with 1/2" aggregate screeded/hand-tamped and watered-in (twice). We installed a playground-style retaining wall around the whole thing, and used a single row of Vodaland J-hooks down the center of the grid to limit shifting while still allowing a little room for thermal expansion. Our modular court tile went on next, and while it's only been up for a few days, the court is incredibly flat and playable for everything from basketball to even pickleball (although the latter requires a very lively ball and doesn't quite play the same as a concrete surface--but, it exceeds our expectations). We're very impressed with the HexPave product! It's easy to install, cuts cleanly with a circular saw when needed, and really did a great job of stabilizing our aggregate fill, enabling us to achieve a much flatter playing surface than we ever would have obtained without it. Tremendous product!!"

Great for small elevation changes

"This stuff is great; my project required dealing with several elevation changes between two houses on sand; the fact that the hex pavers bend so easily made it the perfect solution for this challenge. I did lay down a 2” layer of 3/4” base rock to stabilize the 650 square feet of area, I also buried drainage from 3 downspouts underneath. I then added 3/8” rock to fill the hex pavers, it looks great and I highly recommend this product for similar applications. The trick is in the prep, so don't skimp on bae layers!"

Excellent Product: Will Be Buying More

"This product is absolutely fantastic and works exactly as it is supposed to. The sections click together nicely and where we needed to make cuts to account for our irregular shape, the material cut cleanly and retained its integrity. Will certainly be purchasing more of this in the short-term, as we continue our landscaping projects this year. We laid down a double layer of high-quality landscaping fabric, then laid this system in place (using the anchors - one in the center of each section), and filled with pea gravel. It looks incredible."

Q&A

I have a cellar with a dirt floor. I don't want to cover it with concrete because with the dirt floor if there is flooding the water just seeps down. Can this product be used to cover the dirt floor? If so, what preparation would be necessary and would any other products also be needed?

Are these suitable for helping stabilize the gravel base for a large Hot Tub?
Hello! Yes, Vodaland’s HexPave Grid system is an excellent choice for stabilizing a gravel base for a large hot tub. The interlocking grid structure helps evenly distribute weight, prevents shifting or sinking, and provides a solid, level surface. For best results, make sure the gravel base (2-3inches with 3/4" Clean Angular Gravel) is properly compacted before installing the HexPave grids, and fill it up with at least 1/2" gravel or smaller to help with leveling and drainage.
Hello, I want to create a 23' x 21' pea gravel filled hex pave patio over an area that is currently grass. If I kill the grass and then cover it with textile cloth, will I need a layer of sand before laying the hexpavers or can I place them directly on the killed grass? If I need a layer of sand, will 1" be sufficient?

For optimal installation of the HexPave Grid System, we recommend preparing a base layer of 1–2 inches of clean, angular gravel before laying down the grids.
