"Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt. Two of the channels were damage during transport. One email to Customer Service with pictures and the items were just as promptly replaced. I am holding 1 star back until i complete the installation and I will update this review. So far, I would have no concerns recommending Vodaland and the product."

Great price on a decent drain channel
"The drain channels arrived quickly. The galvanized grating is fairly sturdy but I thought the plastic channels were flimsy. I used them on a long walkway and they should be fine for that area as it will only get foot traffic but I would not recommend them for an area where automobiles would drive over them. They snap together but it is a flimsy connection and I Had a lot of trouble with them separating while getting them aligned and staked in place. After the concrete was poured that should not be a problem but it required more time and effort than the more robust drains I used in the past."

- Is the grate rust proof?
- Hello! The Easy ONE – 3" Premium Channel system comes equipped with a galvanized steel grate. Galvanized steel is coated with zinc to help protect the metal from corrosion. Over time, you may notice light oxidation on the surface — this is a natural process that actually helps form a protective barrier, preventing deeper rusting of the steel underneath. While galvanized steel offers good durability, it is less resistant to rust compared to materials like stainless steel. To extend the lifespan and maintain the grate’s appearance, you can apply a rust-resistant coating or sealant, available at most local hardware stores. Applying this protective layer periodically (especially in wet or coastal environments) will help minimize oxidation and keep your grates looking and performing their best.
- Is there a side pipe connector option? And if so, what size?
- Hi Dave, Thank you for reaching out. With our Easy 1 - 3" Premium Drain System, both sides of the channel drain has a knocked out or cut out for an end cap attachment. The end cap of this system has a cut out as well for a PVC Pipe Connection. There are 3 connection options on each side of the channel drain for this system. - Can you connect to a 4" flex hose on the side of the unit instead of the bottom?
- Hi John, Thank you for getting in touch. Our Easy 1 Trench Drain System features a cutout on the End Cap specifically for a 2" PVC pipe connection. You may be able to modify your connection as needed, though this is the configuration we typically recommend. If there's anything that we can assist you with, please let us know.
- How can I replace the plastic tops of my current drains? There are breaks in it and looks like the top and bottom is all one piece.
- Hi David, Thank you for reaching out. This system is sold per package. So unfortunately, we do not have any Grates only for sales that is suitable for this system. This can only be purchase as a package together with the Channel.
- do i need a special connector to attach this channel to a standard 3" or 4" lowes brand corrugated pipe
- Check the outlet sizing on our specification sheets. We do offer a Schedule 40 adapter for 3 inch and 4 inch piping here online as well. Thank you!
