Vodaland designed and manufactured the 8” Galvanized Stamped Steel package to provide a channel drain system that can be suitable for both residential and commercial applications. This galvanized steel trench drain system is a foot traffic rated perfect for porches, patio, sidewalks, and more.

The 8” Galvanized Stamped Package is an A-Load Classification, supporting a foot traffic weight rate making it suitable for quite a number of applications such as gardens, walkways, or porches. This galvanized channel drain is the ideal grate to use for long runs and complex installations that provide an easy connection with the 8” Channel Drain, and typically paired with the installation grating fasteners for tight lock and security. This system provides multiple outlet location and size options of 4” and 6” pipe connection for water distribution. As one of the most versatile galvanized steel trench drains, it is designed to be modular and allows you to create a 90-degree turn without needing any adapters making it perfect for all types of layout runs.

"First off the customer service was fantastic! Never installed trench drains before and was talked through on the steps for my particular application. Also upon receiving drains a couple pieces were damaged when I opened the box and replacements were sent out right away! If I ever need to install any other drains or products water related I will always use this company! Customer service was impeccable and greatly appreciated! I am not a drainage guy just someone who was doing his own water mitigation at my house. Great company and thank you!"

- Is this compatible with your class B channel drains? I need a section for yard drainage and another section for a driveway.

For areas with vehicle traffic, we recommend using a drain system with at least B-Load Class grates. - Hi there, I’m hoping to install this in my yard next to my driveway. In the future, I’d like to cut my driveway and install another section there as well and connect the two sections. Is this possible? Is there an elbow that can be purchased for that purpose?
- Hi Robert, Thank you for reaching out. For your upcoming project, please note that our 8" Channel Galvanized Stamped Steel Package is only rated for foot traffic. If the application involves vehicle traffic, we do not recommend using this system. For driveway or vehicular applications, a minimum of a B-Load Class Drain System is required. As for a 90-degree elbow or corner piece, we do not offer a separate part for that. However, each end of the channel drain includes a knock-out section that allows you to create an opening and connect another channel at a 90-degree angle to achieve the configuration you need.
