The system has inlets linning the side of it to be placed between the sidewalk and a parking lot or patio to gather water before it pools. It helps prevent water pooling along the edge. This system is a product that provides a highly durable drainage solution made to support sizable amounts of water at a quicker rate. With potential cut outs along the back for PVC hookups where you need it, it can be drained into 4" or 6" PVC piping.
